This year, Homemaker The Valley is inviting the community to come together and help support a local charity Valley Hearts through our Christmas Donation Tree.
Valley Hearts is a small, primarily volunteer-based charity that seeks to support the homeless and marginalised community of the wider Fortitude Valley area.
From 24 November to 15 December, visit our Christmas display in the North of the centre and take part in this simple but meaningful festive tradition. You’ll find a decorated Christmas house surrounded by gift boxes, warm lighting, and a space where you can pause, write your name on a bauble, and place it on the tree.
For every bauble hung, Homemaker The Valley will donate $1 to our chosen charity. It’s an easy way to give back, whether you’re visiting to shop, browse, or simply soak up the Christmas atmosphere.
On 19 December, we’ll present a cheque to Valley Hearts in-centre as a celebration of the community’s generosity.
– Visit the Donation Tree located in the Christmas display in the North of the centre
– Use one of the supplied baubles and write your name
– Hang your bauble on the tree
– For every bauble placed, $1 will be donated
Whether you’re stopping by with family, grabbing a coffee, or ticking off your Christmas shopping list, we invite you to take a moment and contribute to something special. Every bauble helps make a difference.
